Wind

Wind is generated by the uneven heating of the atmosphere and shaped by the rotation of the earth, surface terrain, and moisture evaporation and condensation.

Electrical energy might be extracted from wind in any of a number of ways, but today, wind power systems use ground-mounted rotating airfoils connected to electrical generators.
