Stirling Energy Systems

Stirling Energy Systems Inc. (SES) (website) is a developer of solar power generation equipment for utility-scale power plants. Incorporated in Delaware in 1996, SES is currently headquartered in Phoenix, AZ, home of the principle public financial backer of California's 2008 Proposition 7. 1

SES has entered into a contract with Southern California Edison to sell electricity from a 500-megawatt solar plant slated to be opened in 2009. SES has two plants in California planned -- Solar One and Solar Two
