Fuels

Traditionaal hydrocarbon liquid fuels used as energy carries provide high energy densities -- many times that of traditional electricity storage technologies such as batteries. The complimentary processes of electrolysis and catalysis using a fuel cell offer the possiblitiy of efficient storage of energy in the form of fuels, where electricity is used to produce the fuel, and electricity is generated by consuming the fuel.
